The Play on Words festival has finished for 2024. Venues across the New Forest hosted a vibrant programme of events and activities celebrating everything to do with the spoken and written word. Thanks to to our steering group, all the participating writers, everyone who came, and all our partners and funders. The Festival returns from the 22 October - 3 November 2025, but we host and support events and activities throughout the year, listed here.
